The Summerhill team was pleased to be part of the project during the pre-construction stages through to home occupancy. Working with the owners and design team, Summerhill helped create a space to be lived in and loved.
As with every Summerhill build, attention to the details helped make the difference in this home. The bright interior was warmed with the use of reclaimed fir timbers for shelving and stairs. The high efficiency heating system was designed to keep the durable concrete floors warm and cozy, while supplying fresh air to the occupants at all times. Meanwhile, elements are kept at bay with a robust building envelope system that included high performance European style windows and locally sourced cedar siding finished with a timeless Scandinavian treatment to last generations.
